Such a beautiful walk up to the High Dam, and then around the lake. Nature at its best! The climb to the dam can be serious for some people, but it is worth it! Some people even go swimming in the cold water which looks crazy, but at the same time amazing (I wish I could do it myself).

To a viewing platform above Windermere "Windermere from different perspectives" is the theme of this hike. From the bathing perspective at the lakeshore, you work your way up to an ever wider view with increasing height, which includes not only Windermere but also Loughrigg Fell and the Langdale Pikes. Detours to remains of the Roman garrison and a waterfall complete the tour.
