    Die Wanderroute von Schierke zum Brocken ist echt TOP! Ich bin zwar die Strecke im Uhrzeigersinn gewandert, da es sinnvoller ist. Denn der Teufelsstieg ist zum Teil sehr geröllig und kann beim Abstieg vom Brocken nach Schierke sehr gefährlich werden ( Fuß verdrehen ). Ansonsten ist die Gegend interessant. Besonderst im Eckerloch, da man die Harzer Schmalspurbahn sehr gut sehen kann. Wie gesagt, ich bin im Uhrzeigersinn zum Brocken aufgestiegen. Glück Auf

    Tolle, aber durch die Länge und über die gesamte Strecke verteilten Höhenmeter doch auch anspruchsvolle Strecke. Wir waren am 29. August 2026 auf dem Rundkurs unterwegs. Wir sind um 9:00 Uhr morgens in Oderbrück gestartet und haben es bis 15:40 Uhr zur Rangerstation geschafft, samt Schmalzbrot und Naturradler ;-) Auf den insgesamt knapp 33 km, konnten wir auf der gesamten Strecke sieben Stempel für die Harzer Wandernadel einsammeln. Davon zwei auch für den Harzer Hexenstieg. Wir haben insgesamt knapp 10 Stunden inklusive aller Pausen gebraucht und waren gegen kurz nach 19:00 Uhr wieder zurück am Auto. (der zu diesem Zeitpunkt gesperrte Hirtenstieg, hier im Portal auch ausgewiesen, war kein Problem und wirkt sich auf die Rundtour nicht aus.) Cheers 🤘😎

    Mooie wandeling over grotendeels grintpaden, afgewisseld met bospaden. Veel bloemen en mooie ondergroei waardoor de dode bomen helemaal niet storen. Wij vonden de wandeling goed te doen en zeker niet heel zwaar. Bewegwijzering is niet heel goed en klopt op een punt niet. Via gpx goed te lopen.

    Ein, wenn nicht der, Klassiker im Harz. Entsprechend viel los ist dann auch, aber das ist OK. Der Anfang ist zauberhaft, insbesondere mit der Variante über der das Moor. Die abgestorbenen Bäume dominieren die Tour definitiv nicht und werden zudem sehr lehrreich informativ begleitet. Ich habe jetzt eine ganz andere Sichtweise darauf und den Harz heute. Der Weg verläuft allerdings durchgängig über Schotter und im letzten Teil auch auf der Straße.

    Vielen Dank an den vorherigen Wanderer mit dem Tipp zur Bushaltestelle! Wir haben das dennoch vollkommen unterschätzt: bei 30° Hitze mussten wir mit 5 km Asphaltweg bergauf beginnen, um an dieser besagten Bushaltestelle anzukommen. Unsere Energie hat dann leider für die geplanten 11 km nicht mehr ausgereicht. Es lässt sich trotzdem ein wunderschöner Wanderweg erahnen, den man in der Tat im Uhrzeigersinn gehen sollte, ansonsten stehen alle 500 m Schilder man soll bitte nicht weitergehen, weil hier Trinkwasser zubereitet wird. Das war sehr irritierend und bei dem heutigen Bußgeldkatalog auch nicht zu empfehlen ( 1000 Euro). Ausblick auf den Stausee fantastisch! Aber unbedingt Bus fahren aus Bad Harzburg direkt zu der Startstelle! parken ist auch auf dem kleinen Parkplatz an Pfingsten unmöglich, weil alles voll!

    Sehr schöne Tour! Durch Wald, über Wiesen und immer ein Gewässer in der Nähe. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, sollte man früh genug da sein, da der Parkplatz sonst voll ist. Ich war um 9 Uhr da und habe den letzten freien Parkplatz bekommen.
