Tour with many elevations. The beginning up to Altena Castle is quite nice with many narrow paths and blooming broom. The second part of the tour still needs to be planned better. Wide forest roads through some clear cuts and steep ascents make this part less eventful.

The route leads from Neuenrade station over long stretches on the Sauerland Höhenflug. The path is well developed and very well signposted. It goes over many high paths with a magnificent view. In the middle of the forest and completely unexpectedly, we see "Gut Linschede" in the Hespe valley. From the Hespe valley, it goes uphill again and the high path then takes us to Amecke.

This tour starts at the cemetery in Affeln. You can park your car there. It begins on asphalt along fields and meadows. Afterwards, it goes into the forest, partly on natural paths. From about halfway through the tour, you have a good view of the Lennetal valley.  Overall, a very varied tour that also offers shortcuts if needed, although they require some fitness as there are some longer climbs.
