The Ulvshale Quality Trail is certified as a quality trail and nature trail by the Danish Hiking Association. On this hike, you’ll pass through a “mini Denmark” along a stretch of just 11 km. Here you’ll find natural forests, heathland, dunes, and salt marshes. Wild horses and cows graze in the forest and on the heath. The forest grows on boulders carried by the sea from Møns Klint and deposited here, creating a uniquely magical atmosphere. The Quality Trail combines the Danish Nature Agency’s yellow trails in the area, which run along paths, farm roads, across meadows, and along the beach. The route passes through a variety of landscape types. In several sections, there are views of the water—partly toward Stege Bay and partly toward Fakse Bay. Ulfshale boasts rich biodiversity and is part of the Møn Biosphere Reserve, the Natura 2000 network, the Ramsar Convention, and the Dark Sky Network. You can read more about the Danish Nature Agency’s trails on this website, where you can also download the agency’s brochures.

Eine wirklich wunderbare Tour. Sehr abwechslungsreich.
