    Eine sehr schöne Tour (war unsere 8. Etappe auf dem Panorama Trail) durften auf der Bürgel Hütte allein auf der Hütte schlafen, nur die Hüttenwirtin war zugegen.
    Das Bergtaxi mit 80 EURO ist schon ein wenig happig.

    Tolle Höhenwanderung, deutlich schöner und lohnender als Etappe 5, man läuft gemütlich etwa 3. 5h, also eine Halbtagestour. Hochsonnenbergalm Laut Aushang Mo-Mi geschlossen, heute am Do aktuell auch zu. Daher essen und trinken auf der Alm mitnehmen, die vorher auf dem Weg liegt.

    Ich weiß ja nicht, wie jung Frau Spanring (die Autorin) ist. Aber offensichtlich wohl sehr fit, dass sie die Tour in 5-6 Stunden schafft. Aber vorweg: Wir haben sie heute in 5-dreiviertel Stunden geschafft - einschl. ca 1 Std Pause. Allerdings haben wir die letzten 5 km zur Mittelstation im Galopp zurückgelegt, weil ein Gewitter aufzog und außerdem die letzte Talfahrt der Bahn um 16:15 ging. Also wenn man sich ein wenig mehr Zeit gönnen will (die Aussicht auf dieser Tour lohnt sich allemal), sollte man sich mindestens die sechs Stunden reine Geh-Zeit nehmen. "Schwer", wie Frau Spanring die Tour einordnet ist sie allerdings definitiv nicht. Mit Verlaub - ich bewandere die Alpen seit ca 50 Jahren in allen Höhenlagen zwischen 1000 und 3400 m, so dass ich mir ein Urteil bilden kann. Die Strecke ist insgesamt anstrengend, weil doch etliche Höhenmeter insgesamt überwunden werden. Nach mehreren Auf- und Abstiegen und dabei mehreren Hundert Höhenmetern auf und ab kommt dann noch der Anstieg zum Manlitzkogel, der anstrengend ist, weil er steil ist im Vergleich zu den anderen bisher geschafften Anstiegen. Ziemlich steil ist auch der Abstieg vom Manlitzkogel, aber ungefährlich, insofern also nicht "schwer". Lediglich die übliche Trittsicherheit, die in den Alpen auf allen Hochgebirgspfaden notwendig ist, ist hier Voraussetzung. Die Querverbindung unterhalb des Manlitzkogels in Richtung Stoffenalm ist durch Weidevieh teilweise ziemlich zertreten, aber durchaus gangbar. Anstrengend ist dann allerdings auch noch der Rückweg zur Mittelstation, der sich über insgesamt fast 5 km "zieht" und zum Schluss noch einmal auf einer Forststraße zur Mittelstation hin ansteigt.
