In 1968, a stone wall with the colored coats of arms of the 26 significant cities was erected here, through which the Elbe flows into the North Sea.

    Sehr schöne Wanderung, die wir am 30.12.25 gemacht haben. Temperaturen waren -5 bis -12 Grad und ab mittags setzte Schneefall ein. Der erste Teil bis hoch zur Elb-Baude war teilweise vereist aber durch den Schnee konnten wir ganz gut aufsteigen. Man sollte bei diesen Temperaturen eventuell doch Leichtsteigeisen dabei haben. Kurz vor dem Grat haben wir, mein Mann und ich, uns dann auch ordentlich lang gelegt aber es ist nix passiert. Die Baude hatte glücklicherweise offen und man bekommt warmes Essen und Getränke. Erstaunlich wie viele Leute bei solchen Wetterbedingungen hier oben waren. Fast alle hatten allerdings auch Leichtsteigeisen an. Der Abstieg ging dann erst über eine breite Straße und dann ging es wieder auf einem Wanderweg weiter. Und dann am Ende nochmal eine Überraschung, Der Weg führt die Skipiste hinunter ins Tal! War uns sehr unangenehm war und wohl gefühlt haben wir uns wirklich nicht, weil die Pistenbetreiber das wahrscheinlich überhaupt nicht gerne sehen, aber wir konnten keinen Weg abseits der Piste finden. Das ist richtig doof und das sollte man wissen, um doch eventuell einen anderen Weg zurück nach Spindleruv Mlyn zu finden. Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne. Ansonsten wirklich einen schöne Tour und auch nicht zu anstrengend. Zur Aussicht können wir nichts sagen, da es sehr bedeckt war. Ist bestimmt sehr schön bei gutem Wetter!

    Die Tour war megatoll und die Eindrücke abwechslungsreich. Anstieg sehr herausfordernd aber machbar, wir brauchten ein paar kleinere Verschaufpausen, haben das Zeitfenster dennoch gut gehalten. Oben angekommen eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Schneekoppe und Karpacz. Danach ging es wieder sehr steil abwärts. Der Schnee und das Eis sind nicht zu unterschätzen und haben uns viel Kraft und Aufmerksamkeit abverlangt. Hier sind Stöcke und Schneeketten für die Schuhe sehr empfehlenswert. Den Schnee hinter uns gelassen, ging der Abstieg weiter durch dichten Wald. Hier kreutze eine Wildschweinfamilie unseren Weg. Unten angekommen haben wir die Tour in Knochen und Muskeln gespürt. Pausen sind empfehlenswert und im Winter ruhig eine halbe bis eine Stunde aufrechnen.

    Pittige route die begint met een lange klim naar boven, erg mooi maar zeker uitdagend op het laatste stuk als je de rode piste beklimt. Neem je de stoeltjeslift dan sla je dit over en dan heb je een heerlijke wandeling naar beneden. Wij zijn halverwege ergens een bospad ingelopen en dat was zeker een aanrader

    Die Tour ist wirklich sehr schön, man hat unterwegs sehr viel zu sehen und auf der Schneekoppe zu stehen ist echt eine Highlight. Dennoch, würde ich die Tour nicht als "leicht" bezeichnen, eher "mittelschwer", da die erste Hälfte des Wegs sehr steinig (Stolpergefahr!) und am Anfang ziemlich steil ist. Auch der letzte Stück - rot markierter Aufstieg zur Schneekoppe - ist knifflig. Wenn die Kräfte langsam nachlassen, lieber den blauen Weg nehmen. Man wird aber für die Mühe großzügig mit tollen Aussichten belohnt)))
