Like almost every year around Christmas time, I treat myself to this wonderful pleasure route from the Landmark over the Suruggen to the Gäbris. Today, on 19.12.2021, the weather is especially beautiful, more spring-like than deep winter, and the temperatures are very pleasant at around 6 degrees. The view over the wide sea of fog above the Rhine valley into the Vorarlberg Alps is phenomenal, pure enjoyment. Relatively late, at about 1:00 p.m., I start from the Landmark for this beautiful panoramic hike.
