The nature trail „Riu Segre i Utxesa“ begins in the village of Torres de Segre and connects a section of the Segre River with the reservoir and the surroundings of Utxesa. The entire route runs almost completely through the municipality of Torres de Segre, but part of it also passes through Aitona.
Utxesa is a natural area in the south of the city of Lleida, in the municipalities of Torres de Segre, Aitona, and Sarroca de Lleida. There are two distinct areas: the wet zone with the reservoirs Utxesa-Secà and the dry zone with the table-like reliefs of the Carrassumada and Sunyer hills.
