There are numerous beautiful hiking tours in Thiersee that are suitable for both experienced mountaineers and families with children. One of the most famous routes is the hike to the Pendling summit. The ascent may be demanding, but the breathtaking view over the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains rewards every step.

For less experienced hikers, a leisurely tour along the lakeside path at Thiersee is a good option. This circular trail leads through idyllic villages and past small bays where you can take a refreshing break.

Another highlight is the hike to the Hinterthierseehütte. This route leads through dense forests and alpine landscapes to a charming hut where you can enjoy regional delicacies.

The walking route begins comfortably and is suitable for families. Further on the road is very narrow and sometimes slippery. Most of the way there is no railing. Despite everything, the whole family had a great time.

Great hike and discovery! We live 40min from there and never heard of Glemmbachklamm. This is an hidden gem 💎 and super cute. There are few tricky spots along the water but nothing scary and mostly easy the rest of the way. Possibility to bath in the small pools in summer.
