The starting point is at the church in Pottenstetten. Towards the outskirts near the Bildstock Wayematerl, turn left to Schlag, passing between Hammerholz and Zigeunerholz to the south of Pistlwies until you reach Stocka. From Stocka, descend towards Premberg. A detour leads up to the summit cross on the Premberg with a great panoramic view from Maxhütte over the Naab valley to Burglengenfeld. Ausgehend von da "Ziagla Hüttn" in Bubach an der Naab, gehe ich Richtung Pistlwies. Auf einem alten Hohlweg geht es an Sandgestein vorbei, den Blankaberg hinunter. Die Ruhe, welche hier von dem Tal ausgeht, ist ein wahrer Genuss für unsere Sinne. Weiter nach Altenried, Wölflhof und Wöllmannsbach. Um nach Striessendorf und Wiefelsdorf zu gelangen, muß ich den Kessel verlassen. Dafür habe ich von hier einen herrlichen Blick ins Naabtal. Jetzt gehts ums Kreuzbügerl herum und schon herrscht wieder Ruh. Noch ein paar Kilometer bis zum Wirtshaus, wo man sich mit einer Brotzeit belohnen kann und die Wanderung ausklingen lassen.

Vom Irl in Burglengenfeld aus geht es über die Pithiviers Brücke auf das andere Naabufer. Wir gehen an der Naab entlang, Streifen den Brunnmuehlbach und haben dabei einen traumhaften Blick die Stadt Burglengenfeld. Über den Malerwinkel wandern wir auf Waldwegen durch Laubwälder bis nach Premberg. Erneut überqueren wir die Naab und am Naabufer entlang geht es zum Saltendorfer Weiher. Hier nehmen bei diesen schönen Wetter die Gelegenheit wahr zu einen kühlen Bad. Jetzt wird erst mal Brotzeit gemacht und der Ausblick genossen. Wir brechen auf und bevor wir den Weg fortsetzen umrunden wir erst noch den Badesee. Am Naabufer entlang geht es jetzt über die Fischerhuette und das Irl zurück nach Burglengenfeld.

Von Premberg wandern wir nach einem Abstecher zum Gipfelkreuz am Premberg über Stocka, Oberhof zum Gipfelkreuz des Münchshofener Berges.
