This hike is composed of several walks from the Rother hiking book and can be split into multiple parts. Warm and tiring hike. In and around the crater there are beautiful walks where the air smells wonderful of lavender and broom. Rating: 7.5. The walk through the barranco is boring on asphalt. The part through the village is nice but not enough to do the whole hike for. Rating: 6

Ancient Canary Fortress near TeldeLike Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga, Humiaga was also a "sacred mountain" of the indigenous people. Well camouflaged from the outside, you only realize during the tour how magnificent this rock fortress is! Through the Goteras Gorge to the Ceramics CenterA short but rewarding route: Through the green Barranco de las Goteras, you descend to a chapel and then steeply climb up to La Atalaya, which means "viewpoint" in the language of the indigenous people. The area was placed under nature protection - unfortunately too late for the Santidad, which became a quarry. Our path bypasses its torn-up flanks in a wide arc.

Beach Walk on the East CoastThe attractive promenade called "Coastal Path of the Municipality of Telde" (Sendero litoral de Telde) winds around about half a dozen sandy coves. At just over 4 km, it is relatively short but still exciting: Between the beaches are black lava rocks shaped by the surf with tide pools – the highlight is El Bufadero, a blowhole where fountains shoot up during high tide. Benches invite you to take a break along the way, and several fish restaurants offer refreshments.
