A beautiful hike around the reclaimed area along a marked trail. The hike is 13 km. It follows mainly hiking trails, with some hilly sections and beautiful views. The last 3 km are on asphalt.

Varied circuit around the fjord arm KilenLike a wedge (Kilen), an arm of the Limfjord near Struer extends inland. A road and railway embankment separates the Kilen from the Limfjord, allowing us to actually circle this fjord arm. The Kilen was formed during the last ice age, when meltwater created an outflow channel beneath the ice. At the highest point of the hike, virtually at the wedge tip of the Kilen, we pass the place where the glacier gate was located through which the meltwater flowed westward into the ice-free area.

A very beautiful and challenging hike around Kilen. Much hillier than we had expected. Park in the northeast corner and walk clockwise—that way, you’ll tackle the paved sections first.

Through forest and heath on prehistoric pathsThis short hike takes us back about 4000 years. Hidden behind a forest above Skibsted Fjord is a pagan cemetery from the Bronze Age. With 39 burial mounds, it is the largest of its kind in Denmark. We approach the listed site from the shore of the fjord, just as the people who landed here a very long time ago may have done to honor their dead. On the banks of the fjord, countless lively crabs and water snails, which we can observe through the crystal clear shallow water, bring us back to the present.

A truly beautiful walk along the water; it was nice to avoid too much beach, and the slope was easy to walk on. It was wonderful to walk in the sunshine with no wind. Beautiful views of Venø, Jegindø, and Mors. It was lovely to finish off with a swim at Ålbæk Beach.

Lovely “unknown” round trip from SMK. Start and finish on asphalt, the rest of the tour through forest, on heath, by the sea, pleasantly hilly with beautiful views

A lovely walk around the island, very well marked—though it’s definitely best marked if you walk counterclockwise.

Kilen, Bremdal, Struer is a very beautiful walk in a diversified landscape round the lake "Kilen".Part of the trail is very clearly marked with red dots on trees and signposts. Other , the southernmost part, is more difficult to follow and also it is not suitable for walking during winter or after heavy rain as this part is mostly on the terraces in the slopes. You have to pass a number of fences where no gates are to be opened, but it is build in a way to climb over the electrical fence.
