One of the most beautiful hiking tours in Simmersfeld leads to the observation tower on the Eiberg. From here you have a breathtaking view over the whole valley and the surrounding Black Forest landscape. The climb may be strenuous, but the reward at the end is definitely worth it.

    Der Name Pfad ist ehrlich verdient - man mäandert durch den Wald, die kurzen geraden Abschnitte genießt man fast. Liebevoll gemacht und beschildert. Man braucht echt Zeit. Unterwegs ein Brunnen mit gekühlten Erfrischungen zu moderatem Preis. Allein: die Enzquelle hab ich irgendwie verpasst🙂

    Eine schöne Runde - mit etwas viel Schotterwegen. Ein Highlight für Kinder gleich zu Beginn am Spielplatz: der elektrische Bagger mit voller Bedienung. Nach den ersten Mühlen geht es lange geradeaus auf breitem Weg obwohl es unten am Bach einen sichtbaren Pfad gibt, da könnte man ändern. Ebenso der Weg zurück nach Fünfbronn könnte als Pfad in den lichten Wald verlegt werden. Ein Beispiel für die konsequente Vermeidung von Schotter ist der Enzquellenpfad. Im schönen Morgental gibt es keine einzige Bank - ganz am Schluss jedoch einen schönen neuen Vespertisch und einen Schrank der Genussrunde Seewald - allerdings noch ohne Inhalt.

    Idyllische schmale Pfade, etwas getrübt durch Straßenlärm, am WE leider viele laute Motorräder. Viele Bänke auf der Strecke waren leider in der Sonne, nicht so ideal bei über 30 Grad. Nach dem Poppelsee sehr lange gar keine Sitzmöglichkeit.

    Schöne Tour, für Schwarzwaldverhältnisse mit hohem Pfadanteil. Highlight der Tour ist sicherlich das Durchschreiten des Kälbertals, ein absolut malerisches Kleinod. Dass die Bundesstraße ein wenig den Gesamteindruck schmälert ist so, die etwa 2 Kilometer die man unmittelbar entlang der Bundesstraße läuft sind aber verschmerzbar. Da ist es schon eher schade, dass die Kleine Enzquelle und das Neubachstüble davon ebenfalls betroffen sind und daher nicht wirklich zum längeren Verweilen einladen. An einem schönen Ostersonntag war man die gesamte Strecke ziemlich allein auf weiter Flur. Da es keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten gibt (auch die Quellen taugen nicht um Wasservorräte aufzufüllen) ausreichend Proviant einplanen, eine Getränkestation mit nicht-alkoholischen Getränken wäre eine schöne Ergänzung. Beschilderung mehr als ausreichend, Wandernavi wurde die gesamte Strecke über nicht benötigt.

    Eine Wanderung mit einem bemwerkenswert hohen Anteil an Naturpfaden. Lediglich ein längerer Abschnitt von Poppeltal in Richtung Kaltenbacher See auf einer unangenehmen Schotterpiste mindert das Erlebnis ein wenig. Dieser Abschnitt sollte noch durch einen Naturpfad ersetzt werden. Ansonsten stört die Nähe zur Straße mit viel Motorradlärm immer mal wieder. Und man muss wissen, dass die Tour weitestgehend im Wald verläuft und nur über ganz wenige Aussichtspunkte verfügt.

    Der Enzquellenpfad ist eine wirklich wunderschöne Tour. Man ist viel im Wald auf meist gut zu laufenden Naturpfaden auf weichen Waldboden unterwegs. Der Moosbewuchs ist manchmal etwas tricky, weil man nicht immer den richtigen Halt findet. Trotzdem angenehm zu laufen, man muss halt aufpassen. Punktabzug zumindest temporär gibt es von mir wegen grosser querliegenden Fichten in einem Abschnitt der Enzschleife. Diese sollten bei einem Qualitätsweg entfernen werden. Die Abschnitte entlang der Enz sind landschaftlich sehr schön, aber der Verkehrslärm vorallen der Motorräder ist leider etwas störend.

    Wunderschöner Weg im idyllischen Enztal. Die Beschilderung ist hervorragend und der Weg sehr gut gepflegt. Immer wieder schöne Bänke, Hütten oder Sonnenliegen zum Verweilen. Ein großer Teil des Weges besteht aus Moospfaden, so weich, daß man federt. Bin die Poppel- und die Kaltenbachschleife alleine gelaufen. Es war Erholung und Abschalten pur. Vielen Dank an Wegewart T.B. für die tolle Instandhaltung des Weges! Man spürt beim Laufen deine Liebe zu Natur und Heimat!

    Es handelt sich hier um eine "Wald-Tour", wer also spektakuläre Ausblicke erwartet ist hier falsch! Die Quellen sind unscheinbar. Was den Reiz der Runde ausmacht, sind vor allem die vielen Pfadabschnitte (v. a. das idyllische Kälberbachtal), einige interessante Tafeln (über die Holztrift, historische Wege und die erste Wasserversorgung), ein paar nette Picknickplätze, sowie die Möglichkeit je nach Jahreszeit Pilze und oder Beeren zu sammeln. (Man kann auch ein paar Schnäpse probieren.) Zurzeit (Stand 27.7. 25) wandert man außerdem ohne Lärmbelästigung, die Bundestraße im Kleinenztal scheint gesperrt zu sein.
