Hikes in Seengen

This leisurely hike leads from Hallwyl Castle near Seengen along Lake Hallwil to Mosen.

This leisurely hike starts at Hallwyl Castle, follows the shore of Lake Hallwil, and then continues through Hitzkirch to Heidegg Castle.

The approximately 5-hour circular route mostly runs directly along the almost unspoiled lakeshore. Regular boats operate between the lakeside villages, allowing the route to be shortened as desired.

This is an easy but naturally beautiful hike through the Aarau Midland. The most beautiful viewpoint is the Esterliturm, the highest point of the hike is the Eichberg. In addition, Schloss Hallwyl and its outbuildings offer an interesting glimpse into the past.

Very beautiful hike around Lake Hallwil, which can be undertaken at any time. This hike starts directly at the public parking lot (paid) near the Strandbad Seerose. In the warm months, the Strandbad Seerose is ideal for swimming. Besides the Strandbad, there are also other spots at Lake Hallwil where you can swim, but it should be noted that swimming is not allowed everywhere. During this lovely hike around Lake Hallwil, there are numerous benches and nice barbecue areas where you can prepare a meal. Additionally, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Alps and observe nature. The route is also doable on foot for children aged 12 and up and is suitable for strollers. It is not necessary to complete the entire loop with children, as that might be too much to ask :-).
