The ascent to Preikestolen - the "Predigstuhl" high above the Lysefjord - is one of the most spectacular experiences in Norway and offers views to "kneel down" from the 25 x 25 m granite pulpit. The hike to Norway's most visited hiking destination is uncomplicated and relatively easy, but requires a little effort. To avoid the "mass migration", especially in the high season, it is advisable to set off early. Then you can enjoy the impressions of the cliff, which is over 600 m high and slopes vertically down to the 40 km long Lysefjord, relatively undisturbed. The unique landscape experience with the fjord shimmering in magnificent shades of blue and flanked by rock faces up to 1000 m high is sure to remain unforgettable.

A spectacular hike from start to finish! Awesome fjord views, interesting terrain. Note: this hike will take longer than you think: there is scrambling, some ladders, and a lot of uneven terrain. But it's worth doing even if you do only a small part of the hike.

Fantastische Tour, sehr gut beschrieben.
