A legendary lake high above Plan This popular destination on the north side of the Cotiella Massif is mainly accessed via a long gravel road that leads all the way to the Refugio de Labasar. But there are also two very scenic hiking trails leading up to the tranquil lake, nestled among the jagged and sometimes otherworldly-looking limestone formations that surround it. According to legend, a Moorish princess drowned here while fleeing the wars between the Moors and the Christians.
