Vom Hotel Parksteiner Hof zur einst mächtigen Burganlage den erhaltenen Teil des äußeren Rondell den Schildwachturm. Hinauf zur Bergkirche St. Pankratius. Der Sage nach stahl im Jahre 1642 ein Dieb die wertvollen Kelch mit Hostien. Er warf die Hostien in einen Brunnen zwischen den Häusern. Weil sich die Hostien nicht auflösten hielten die Bewohner das Wasser für geheiligt und errichteten darüber eine Kapelle zum hl. Brunnen. 1835 wurde der Markt un die Kapelle ein Raub der Flammen. Nachdem die Burg 1759 abgebrochen wurde, baute man mit einen geretteten Altarbild und der Muttergottes Statue die Bergkirche. An der Basaltwand entlang geht es hinunter in den Ort Parkstein und nahe der Ortskirche eine Besichtigung des Basalt Vulkan Kellers. Weiter geht es immer dem Schild "1" entlang an Johann Leiner Bauer's Hofbackstube vorbei hinüber zur Hofkäserei Lang. Im Hofladen eine deftige Mahlzeit zur Stärkung auf den Rückweg. Zwischen den Weihern und den Dürrschweinnaab rüber zum Gehöfel und zwischen Große Wiese und Meierwiese zurück nach Parkstein
