Hike in theVolcanic Nature Park A geological curiosity: Just a few kilometers from the central axis of the Pyrenees lies a small volcanic area with numerous volcanic cones, several of which are even located in the nearby town of Olot, which features an informative volcano museum at the Casal dels Volcans. In the exceptionally well-preserved “Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa” Nature Park, numerous trails have been established through the volcanic region, and this loop offers the most varied glimpse of the area.

    Der Weg ist ein bisschen langweilig. Am Anfang viel Wald und weit und breit keine "Vulkan-Action". Ok, bewaldete Huegel ab und zu die wohl mal Vulkane waren. Das verheissungsvolle Titelfoto mit der roten Erde geht in der Realitaet gerade mal ueber 200 Meter und das war das Highlight sozusagen. Aber am enttaeuschendsten: Der Weg fuehrt gar nicht in den Krater Santa Margarida hinunter, obwohl dass das tatsaechliche Highlight waere und nur 10 Minuten hinzuaddieren wuerde. Den Abstecher sollte man also auf jeden Fall machen damit diese Tour zumindest ein bisschen eine Note von etwas besonderem hat.

    Der Anfang der Tour passte, dann fehlte aber die in der App angezeigte Abzweigung. Wir nahmen hilfsweise die ausgeschilderte Route 1, sie führte dann wieder zu dieser Tour. Insgesamt schöne Waldwege, aber keine 'wow'-Landschaft. Durch die Steigungen und das heiße und schwüle Wetter anstrengend bzw. herausfordernd - mit 9 jährigen Kind gerade so zu schaffen!

    Sehr schöne Tour mit sehr unterschiedlichen Landschaften auf dem Weg. Die Gegend ist für Wanderungen sehr bekannt. Man ist also nicht alleine auf dem Pfad unterwegs, sondern trifft i.A. sehr viele andere Wanderer die gesamte Strecke entlang.
