    Bin den Weg einige Jahre nicht mehr gewandert und muss sagen, er ist aktuell in einem Top-Zustand. Das war nicht immer so. Die Markierung ist einwandfrei und die Wege sind gut präpariert. Rastmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden, evtl. könnte oben auf dem Geisberg noch was hin, denn das wäre wirklich eine ausgezeichnete Stelle, auch für Gruppen. Mein Tipp für eine Rast ist das Krohkreuz, 100 Meter vom Weg entfernt, fast genau nach der Hälfte der Strecke. Insgesamt ist der Weg sehr abwechslungsreich. Der Name passt schon, aber man sollte wissen, dass es nicht nur Wein und Panorama gibt, sondern es vor allem im Mittelteil auch viel durch den Wald und ein wenig durchs Hinterland geht. Vor allem zu Beginn gibt's tolle Aussichten, ein Abstecher zum Schleidkreuz ist empfehlenswert. Dann in der Mitte auf dem Geisberg und natürlich im letzten Drittel im Bereich Ockfen/Bockstein. Einige Aussichten liegen ein paar Meter neben dem Weg. Es gibt einige Pfade, aber insgesamt sind die Wege schon auch etwas breiter, befestigter und steiniger, das ist hier einfach so. Es gibt hier nicht ganz soviele federnde Waldpfade, wie man sie z.B. von vielen Traumschleifen gewohnt ist. Der Weg ist auf jeden Fall eine Wanderung wert er ist dirchaus anspruchsvoll und für sportliche Wanderer interessant. Unbedingt die empfohlene Gehrichtung einhalten. Wem die Strecke zu lange ist: in der empfohlenen Gehrichtung kann man oben auf dem Geisberg abkürzen und gelangt kurz vor dem Bocksteinfels wieder auf die reguläre Route. Man hat dann trotzdem fast alle Highlights. Leider ist die Abkürzung nicht wirklich beschildert, mit einem Blick auf die Karte oder in Outdoractive sollte es aber funktionieren.

    Sehr tolle Wanderung, die wir bei 35° gegangen sind, das ist wirklich Grenzwerte, wobei sie sehr viel durch den Wald geht. Mit vielen Pausen und ausreichend zu trinken auch bei diesen Temperaturen durchaus machbar, aber weniger empfehlenswert.

    Eine abwechslungsreiche und auch anspruchsvolle Wanderung. Für eine größere Gruppe leider wenige Möglichkeiten um eine Rast zu machen. Der Weg war super in Schuss, nichts zugewachsen, gut begehbar und gut ausgeschildert. Top!

    Sehr schöne ruhige Gegend ohne viel Touristik. Wir sind keinen Menschen auf der Strecke begegnet. Den Startpunkt haben wir nicht gefunden, deswegen sind wir die Runde anders herum gelaufen. Um den Weidberg herum sind die Wege zum Teil komplett zu gewachsen mit Brennessel und Brombeeren, das war etwas nervig.
