The GR5 is also one of the most demanding trails, requiring significant training and excellent physical condition.From May 15 for about 3 weeks, due to works on the GR5 route, on the path called "Chemin de Jean-Pierre", between the hiking signposts named "En Jean-Pierre" and "Route des Frasses", the GR5 itinerary, which supports the Grande Traversée du Jura (GTJ) and the Échappée Jurassienne (EJ), will be diverted for the duration of the works. See map below.WARNING: The GR 5 section between Les Rousses and Bernex (Haute Savoie) will be modified in spring 2025.
