The Kaltbrunnental is considered by many Laufental residents to be one of the favorite spots in their region. For good reason, as it offers a beautiful hiking experience for young and old at any time of year and in any weather.
Nice hike for hot days. The hiking route lies mostly in the shade.
The total duration for us was about 4 hours because we took many photos, wet our feet in the cool Ibach, and inspected some caves.
Short circular hike opposite the Kaltbach valley.
Plenty of parking spaces in the village of Grellingen (marked).
From St. Laurentius Church, it quickly goes first over little asphalt, then beautiful paths and trails up to the Eggflüe.
A small highlight is the rock path, which winds safely along the limestone edge shortly before the viewpoint.
On the edge, it then quickly goes down again towards the south.
