    Kleine abwechslungsreiche Runde auf Pfaden, Schotterweg, Waldwegen und ein kleines Stück Teer. Am schönsten fand ich den Weg und den Wald auf der Strecke, die er sich mit dem Geopfad deckt. Hier gibt es schönen Waldboden und viele Infotafeln. Außerhalb des Geopfads ist der Wald nicht mehr so schön, auch die Wege waren zugewuchert. Die Runde ist recht gut ausgeschildert. An der ein oder anderen Weggabelung hätte ich mir noch einen Wegweiser gewünscht. Aber mit der Wegbeschreibung kommt man dann doch ganz gut zurecht.

    Gestern haben wir uns aufgemacht das Frankenwaldsteigla im Kohlenwald zu erwandern. Es war eine sehr schöne Wanderung bei bestem Wanderwetter. Die Streckenkennzeichnung ist ausgezeichnet. Es gibt sehr viele informative Schautafeln die einem das Leben und Wirken der Bergarbeiter verdeutlichen. Auch überquert man öfters die ehemalige deutsche Grenze ohne es wirklich noch zu merken. Vorbei an vielen lost places deren einstige Schönheit leider nicht mehr zu erkennen ist. Deshalb zwei Fotos aus vergangenen Tagen die das alte Schwimmbad zeigen. Die Zeit halte ich persönlich für etwas knapp bemessen. Es gibt sehr viel zu sehen und zu lesen , da bleibt man öfter mal länger stehen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.
