The Finne region is characterised by its rolling hills and wide fields. It is located southeast of Leipzig and covers an area of about 200 square kilometres. The picturesque landscape offers ideal conditions for extended hikes.

There are many beautiful hiking tours in Finne that will appeal to both beginners and experienced hikers. One of the most popular routes leads along the "Dübener Heide" nature park. Here, visitors can explore unspoilt nature on well-marked hiking trails and enjoy breathtaking views.

The "Finneweg", a circular trail of around 15 kilometres around the Finne mountain of the same name, is also particularly recommended. On this route, you walk past idyllic villages, meadows and forests and always have the opportunity to relax or use a picnic area.

If you are travelling with children, you should definitely choose the "Adventure Trail". This specially designed trail leads through a forest full of surprises: Climbing frames, swings and rope slides offer fun for the little ones while they playfully explore their surroundings.

The best seasons for hiking in Finne are spring and autumn, when temperatures are pleasantly mild and nature is in full bloom.
