The tour begins at the former Christmas Seal Home at Lindersvold, where frail children could come for a recuperative stay. On the fields surrounding Lindersvold, farmworkers dreamed of a better life in the new smallholder colony.

The most beautiful hiking trails in Faxe can be found throughout the area, each offering its own set of unique features and attractions. One standout location is Møns Klint, famous for its towering chalk cliffs that overlook the Baltic Sea. The hike along these cliffs offers unparalleled panoramic views and opportunities for birdwatching along the way.
This walk is a surprisingly changeable walk. The first section until Strandhus has a well beaten path. The inland section goes through a village where you need 10/15/20 kroner coins to put into an honesty box for a pot of homemade jam (if you want). After Lund the path is in name only: You have to struggle through stinging nettles and bushes because the path is not maintained and it is tiring. There are however many more birds in this section and I was almost convinced that I saw a yellowhammer, I definately came face to face with a deer.
I would say that this walk is good for a fit, wild nature lover who does not have access to a car; it is great that you can get to Faxe Ladeplads by train from Copenhagen and back from Rødvig in just under 1 hour 30
