Ein beliebter Weg ist beispielsweise der Rundweg um den Lac Bleu, einem idyllischen Bergsee, der sich perfekt für eine entspannte Familienwanderung eignet. Für erfahrene Wanderer bietet sich hingegen die Tour auf den Mont-Miné an, von wo aus ihr einen atemberaubenden Blick über das gesamte Tal habt.

Die Umgebung erkunden

Neben den Wanderungen direkt in Evolène lohnt es sich auch, die umliegende Region zu erkunden. Nicht weit entfernt liegt zum Beispiel das Val d'Hérens mit seinen pittoresken Dörfern und spektakulären Aussichtspunkten. Hier könnt ihr auf dem Sentier des Chamois wandern und dabei vielleicht sogar Steinböcke erspähen.

Weitere Highlights

Ihr solltet auch unbedingt einen Abstecher zum Aletschgletscher machen, dem größten Gletscher der Alpen. Eine geführte Wandertour entlang des Gletschers ist ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und zeigt euch die beeindruckende Kraft der Natur hautnah.

    Definitiv zu empfehlen! Die Anfahrt nach Arolla dauert lange, aber lohnt sich. Von der Bushaltestelle aus links gehen, nicht rechts. Es geht über Wiesen im Zickzack ziemlich zügig den Berg hoch. "Oben" angekommen könnte man noch einen ca. 30min Abstecher zur "Nase" machen (evtl. Sicht auf den Lac Bleu?). Ab hier gelangt man auf einer Ebene zu einem Geröllfeld und bewegt sich dann am Hang entlang weiter nach oben, bis man schliesslich bei der Hütte ankommt. Diese ist sehr alt und innen sehr dunkel, draussen hat es keine Tische. Verweilen macht also nicht so Spass, aber die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und den Gletscher ist toll. Von hier aus folgt der (endlose) Abstieg, meist im Zickzack. Der Lac Bleu wäre hübsch, aber viel zu viele Besucher. Von hier aus ist angedacht, dass man zurück nach Arolla läuft. Wir würden aber empfehlen, vom Lac Bleu aus abzusteigen, um Zeit zu sparen, denn dort hat es auch eine Bushaltestelle. Denn: Der Weg zurück nach Arolla ist ein einziges Auf und Ab durch den Wald, je nach Wetter etwas rutschig. Es kostet Zeit und die Busse fahren nicht oft.
