Exploring the Old Cröver Empire The trail winds its way up through the forest toward Borberg and, as it approaches the Kröver Bergkapelle, unfolds into an impressive panoramic path with short detours into damp forest valleys. From there, the trail follows the Moselle loop high above the river past Wolf and its monastery ruins, and at Mont Royal, you’ll briefly feel as if you’ve been transported to the Netherlands. The trail then gently descends toward Traben-Trarbach.

    Dem (W)Ürziger Bergpfad gelingt es, sich trotz der kurzen Distanz von knapp sieben Wanderkilometern im Premiumsegment zu etablieren. Dafür sorgen die im mittleren Tourabschnitt überaus pfadige Routenführung, die nahezu ständigen grandiosen Tiefblicke ins Moseltal und der insgesamt recht abwechslungsreiche Streckenverlauf. Allerdings erweist sich der windurngsreiche Aufstieg zum Leizenberg als ziemlich kräftezehrend. Die asphaltierten Abschnitte über breite Weinbergwege außerhalb der Ortslage von Ürzig fallen zwar negativ ins Gewicht, vermögen den guten Gesamteindruck aber nicht entscheidend zu mindern. So erscheinen vier von fünf möglichen Sternen für durchaus angemessen. Rast- und Ruhemöglichkeiten entlang der Strecke sind in genügender Zahl vorhanden. Die Beschilderung ist ausreichend und gut sichtbar angebracht.     Abwechslungsreiche Wanderung durch die Weinberge über Teerweg und Schotter. An 2 Kapellchen vorbei. Durch Wald über schmale und kurze Pfade. Autobahnbrücke war mächtig imposant.

    Zeer mooie rondweg. Het eerste stukje is best wel een beetje steil en is enige conditie nodig, nadien is de tocht eerder ontspannend. Er zijn de nodige zit gelegenheden, er is voldoende afwisseling en mooi open zicht. En pad om van te genieten, ook midden november.

    Eine herrliche Strecke, die zwar sehr kurz, dafür aber abwechslungsreich und (besonders im ersten Abschnitt) fordernd ist. Es gibt tolle Ausblicke, einen herrlichen Hangpfad und auch Spiel und Spaß kommen nicht zu kurz. Absolute Empfehlung, besonders für den Herbst, wenn alles in bunte Farben getaucht ist!

    Mooie wandeling maar "Leicht" klopt wieleicht niet helemaal :). Wij deden vanuit de parkeerplaats 3 uur over de toer, maar namen onderweg wel foto's, en een lunch. Op sommige plaatsen was de weg (wei) heel drassig. Ik zou hem toch niet aanraden voor kinderen onder 6 jaar.

    Schöne Runde, die man auch vom Autobahnparkplatz gut gehen kann. Somit dann aber auch 2km länger wird. Nur die Angabe mit 50minuten ist total verkehrt, wer nicht läuft, schafft dies wohl kaum. Wir sind gute Wanderer und haben für die etwas längere Route 1 Stunde 40 Minuten gebraucht.

    Eine wunderschöne Wanderung, vom Anstieg her nicht zu steil. Sehr abwechslungsreich, gute Beschilderung. Nicht nur asphaltiert, sondern auch Schotter und Waldwege. für die Vierbeiner sollte genügend Wasser vorhanden sein, da nicht allzu viele Möglichkeiten vorhanden sind, dass sich der Hund mal abkühlen kann. wenn unsere Hündin einen Wassergraben gefunden hat, so wurde der dankbar angenommen. Sehr schöne Ausblicke hat man auch über die neu erbaute Moselhochbrücke. Ein paar Geocaches wurden auch gefunden. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht, wir benötigten 8 km vom Parkplatz Bartholomäus Hütte.
