    Auf dieser Etappe gibt es nicht viel Wassermöglichkeiten (der kleine See hatte bei uns keinen Zufluss und das Wasser war nicht so vertrauswürdig). Eindrücklicher Abstieg durch den Buchenwald. In Velestovo gibt es Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten, Läden und Restaurants sowie natürlich der lilla Mini :-).

    Nach dem Wald sind die Markierungen nicht immer gut zu finden. Teilweise Markierungspfosten, welche aber auch teilweise umgestürzt sind. Das erwähnte erste Militärgebäude direkt nach Wald ist in eine Alp um funktioniert. Sehr freundliche Familie dort. Auf der linken Seite wäre eine schöne Fläche zum zelten (bei der Alp nachfragen). Ein kleiner Bach ist auch dort. Bei der anderen Militärruine findet man sicher auch ein Platz. Ein Bach ist dort in der Nähe.

    Im Aufstieg im unteren Teil würde ein Freischneiden des Weges nichts schaden. Wasser gibt es noch vor der erwähnten alten Siedlung an einem Bach. Zelten könnte man z.B. direkt auf der Grenze.

    Sehr schöne Tour, zu Anfang (und am Ende beim Rückweg) geht man sehr lange auf einer Straße, bevor es dann durch teils sehr verwunschene kleine Wege am Bach mit unheimlich vielen Schmetterlingen höher in Richtung des Shepenik geht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

    Très beau chemin pour démarrer jusqu'à l'ancienne base militaire, où vous trouverez de l'eau dans le ruisseau puis ensuite chemin sur les crêtes! Nous nous sommes arrêtés un peu avant Qafa e Kryqit le long du ruisseau en contrebas.

    Le départ du balisage GPS n'est pas très bon.. Il nous a conduit dans les broussailles.. Nous avons retrouvé un gros chemin juste avant la chapelle. Ensuite beau chemin jusqu'au petit village presque abandonné ... sous la pluie pour nous. Nous avons poursuivi jusqu'à un large chemin pour en récupérer un plus étroit pour passer la frontière et rejoindre ensuite Stebleve. Là l'hébergement, trouvé sur airbnb (villa Mersin) était fermé et non réservable. Nous avons trouvé refuge chez un habitant de passage dans sa maison de campagne!

    Der Aufstieg bietet ein seltenes Feature auf dem Trail: weite, gut ausgebaute Serpentinen! Man kommt super easy hoch und kann die wunderbaren Ausblicke genießen. Auch der Abstieg ist vergleichsweise einfach, anfangs steil, aber auf gutem Weg und ohne Sucherei. Auch hier gab es ne schnelle Lösung für Shuttle/Transfer. Vevcani ist relativ groß und belebt, man muss eben bisschen rumfragen, spätestens der/die Fünfte kann einem helfen. Es gibt eine relativ häufige Busverbindung nach Struga, dort kann man dann in einen weiteren Bus nach Ohrid umsteigen. Der Transfer hat mit Umsteige-Wartezeit vielleicht 90 Minuten gedauert und pro Person vier Euro gekostet. Ist immer bisschen Abenteuer, aber die Leute sind hilfsbereit und freundlich. Irgendjemand kann schon englisch oder deutsch und hilft Dir! Wenn irgendwas nicht klappt, geht immer auch was per Taxi.

    Völlig untypisch geht es erst einmal ca. 6 Kilometer (ab dem Punkt, wo sich der heutige Tag vom Vortag trennt und wo wir gezeltet haben) auf einer alten Militärstraße sehr angenehm bergauf bis zu verlassenen Militärgebäuden. Super angenehm zu gehen. Dann muss man ein bisschen aufpassen, dass einen der weitere Verlauf dieser Straße nicht zu weit nach rechts leitet. Ihr verlasst die Straße bei den Militärgebäuden, steigt entlang eines Baches auf und haltet Euch tendenziell immer etwas links bis in einen Sattel. Dort trefft ihr wieder auf einen weiteren guten Weg. Wir haben nicht die totale Kammroute des gpx-Trails genommen (einsetzendes Gewitter), sondern sind dem gut erkennbaren alten Militärweg gefolgt, der etwas unterhalb traversiert. Der ist zwar zwischendurch in einer Passage komplett abgerutscht, war aber über weite Strecken sehr gut zu gehen und trifft dann auch wieder auf die Route des Files. Oben wunderbare Ausblicke und eine herrliche Weite. Wir haben auf der großen ebenen Fläche ca. einen Kilometer vor Qafa e Kryqit gezeltet (ein ausgetrockneter Seegrund), da gab es auch Wasser. Sehr schöner Platz. Insgesamt ist die Etappe vergleichsweise gut und schnell zu gehen und bietet wunderbare Blicke!

    Achtung: aus unserer Sicht passen Wegbeschreibung und gpx-File nicht ganz zusammen. Der File beschreibt eine der Traversen entlang des Hangs, nicht den Weg runter zur Straße in den Talgrund, wie der Text suggeriert. Die Traverse ist gut und spart Zeit, anfangs ist sie allerdings ziemlich zugemüllt und dann später etwas überwachsen (mit Dornen!). Auf der Traverse gibt es viele Wege und Abzweigungen, also engmaschig kontrollieren, sonst muss man noch mal durchs Dornengebüsch zurück ;-). Die weitere Wegführung ist dann sehr hübsch und äußerst relaxt für die Verhältnisse des Trails. Mit Zelt muss man auch gar nicht runter nach Stebleve, sondern kann dort zelten, wo es am nächsten Tag weitergeht. Für Wasser dann einfach ein bisschen in den Weg des nächsten Tages rein, nach ca. 500 Metern hört ihr dann schon rechter Hand den Wildbach plätschern...
