At the beginning of the hike, you need some courage as you have to cross the Glems twice. Alternatively, you can take the bike path on the opposite side of the Glems, but then you miss the enchanting riparian forest. Look at the pictures and choose the path. After the idyllic trail through the Glems riparian forest, we climb the hill to the ruins of Nippenburg and the associated manor farm. Then it continues on meadows and asphalt paths uphill to Schöckingen with its charming village center and the castle. Past the Kaiserstein, we reach Hemmingen with its church and castle.
