This cross-border tour takes you from Rosenthal-Bielatal across the scenic Grenzplatte to the highest mountain in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - the Hoher Schneeberg. Not only do you hike through beautiful forests, but you can also marvel at imposing cliffs and enjoy interesting views. The tour was recorded in January with extreme snow depths, but is particularly suitable from April to October as a longer hike, which can be shortened or ended after around 15 kilometers below the Hoher Schneeberg.     Schöne Runde. Nehmt am anfang den Forststeig. Dieser beginnt an dem punkt wo es runter Richtung Elbe geht und geht rechts am Kamm entlang.

    Definitiv eine Wanderung, die sehr zu empfehlen ist! Ich habe den Weg allerdings über den Forststeig begonnen und nicht, wie in der Tour zu sehen ist unten an der Elbe entlang. Das würde ich auch jedem empfehlen, denn der Weg oben lang ist deutlich schöner und gerade dieses Teilstück gehört für mich zu den schönsten auf dem ganzen Weg. Die Ausblicke vom großen und kleinen Zschirnstein sind toll und auch den kompletten Aufstieg zum Zirkelstein sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es gibt auch ein paar nicht ganz so schöne Passagen, aber ich denke da kann man drüber hinwegsehen. Ich habe für die 22,5 km 4h 45 min gebraucht und hatte laut Aufzeichnung 746 Höhenmeter.

    Hallo, schöne Tour bis auf einige etwas längere Waldautobahnstücke. Aber bitte beachten dass der Wanderbus nur Sa und So fährt und auch schon mal ein Weg gesperrt ist. Wir sind einfach weiter gegangen. Die Tissaer Wände sind klasse und eine so lange Wanderung wert. 👍👍👍

    Wir sind den Weg zur Hälfte an der Eröffnung gewandert. Los ging's in Schöna, "abgekürzt" haben wir kurz nach dem Taubenteich über "Willy's Ruh". Der Weg ist echt super. Nur zum Ende hin (Labyrinth, Nikoldsdörfer Wände, ...) wird es an so einem 1. Mai-Wochenende doch sehr belebt durch Wochenendausflügler mit Kind und Kegel, aber die Felsformationen sind schon den Besuch wert. Teilweise stimmt der Track hier nicht mit der schlussendlich markierten Route überein (vom Lampertstein bis zum Labyrinth). Der Campingplatz in Nikolsdorf ist nett, aber eher an längerfristigen Campern interessiert (die "Zeltwiese" war voll mit Bullis); dort gibt es auch keine Einkehr/Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
