    Sehr schöne und abwechslungsreiche Tour entlang der Mulde an beiden Uferseiten. Lediglich ein kurzes, unangenehmes Stück entlang einer stark befahrenen Straße ohne Randstreifen.     Es gibt durchaus sehenswertes, wie das Schloss Colditz, das Wasserschloss Podelwitz, das Gelände aus dem 19. Jahrhundert der Klinik Zschadraß und ebenso der Muldenzusammanenschluss der Zwickauer und Freiberger Mulde, doch leider geht die Wanderung zum Großteil an Straßen entlang, die jedoch kaum befahren sind.

    Eine der schönsten Touren in der Region. Auf der Ostseite der Mulde stehen etliche Skulpturen aus Stein und es gibt ausreichend naturnahe Sitzgelegenheiten. Sie erscheint im Vergleich zur Westseite gepflegter. Man könnte ab dem Fährhaus auch geradeaus direkt der Mulde folgen. Dann würde man aber das sehr sehenswerte Dorf Höfgen mit Mühlen + Museum und wunderbar gestalteten Gärten verpassen. Der "Umweg" lohnt sich! Die wenigen (Kilo?)Meter Landstraße von Kössern bis Großbothen haben keinen Fußweg, was aber wegen des geringen Fahrzeugaufkommens nicht stört. Bis auf einen heftigen Anstieg etwa 200 Meter nach der Hängebrücke (Rabenstein) ist die Tour auch für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet. Tipp: Wer gern in Ruhe wandert, sollte sich nicht gerade den Männertag aussuchen, auf der Strecke zwischen Großbothen und dem Kloster war es die reinste Völkerwanderung.

    Sehr schöner Rundwanderweg. Momentan ist die Hängebrücke in Grimma auf Grund der Hochwasserschäden von 2013 gesperrt. Es fährt aber ein Zodijak von einem Ufer zum anderen. Der "Fährmann" verlangt keine feste Gebühr. Man gibt ihm einfach das Kleingeld aus der Hosentasche. ;-) Nach seiner Information wird die Brücke auch noch bis mindestens 2015 gesperrt bleiben.
