Hikes in Chalais

In Vercorin itself, there are numerous beautiful hiking trails that will take you through picturesque landscapes. From paths through the vineyards to steep cliffs, this region offers everything to make every hiker’s heart beat faster. It’s best to start your hike early in the morning to enjoy the fresh air and a breathtaking sunrise.

Beginners:

For beginners, we recommend the ‘Bisse de Vercorin’, a pleasant route with little elevation gain and magnificent views over the Réchy valley. Pack a picnic and settle down comfortably along the way!

More experienced hikers:

If you already have some experience, do give the ‘Lac du Louché’ a go. This route is a little longer, but it will reward you with a spectacular high-altitude lake and wild natural scenery.

For experienced hikers:

For experienced hikers, we have the ultimate challenge: the ‘Tour d’Anniviers’ route. This multi-day hike requires a good level of fitness and mountaineering skills, but will reward you with unrivalled panoramic views of the Alps. The fifth stage of this route will take you from the Becs de Bosson hut to the village of Vercorin.
