This hike follows a narrow path along the hillside. Unfortunately, it had to be aborted due to two very steep and partly dangerous descents and therefore leads back to Brianconnet on the same route.
The path towards Gars is signposted in Brianconnet but could not be continued due to a steep descent after about 3 km. To still reach the Estéron stream, we followed the signpost "Crête" on the way back after about 1.3 km, which started steeply uphill but promisingly. However, after crossing the ridge, it quickly became life-threateningly steep downhill, which led to the abandonment of this attempt.
The path to Gars is only recommended for people who can manage steep sections, possibly with aids such as ropes.
It is expressly warned not to follow the signpost "Crête."
