This hike is beautiful at any time of year, but particularly charming in late summer and autumn, when the grapes are ripe on the vines just before harvest and the foliage glows colorfully in the sun.

The stage takes us from Boppard via Hirschkopf and Gedeonseck to Fesslerhöhe. Along the ridge, we hike to Rhens, where a detour into the town center is worthwhile. Then it goes steeply but briefly uphill to the "Kaiserstuhl." Another ascent takes us to the old Jewish cemetery of Koblenz. High above the Rhine, the path winds through the forest. At Augustahöhe, there is the possibility to descend to Stolzenfels Castle. We stay on the mountain until the Rittersturz monument. After that, it goes down into the Laubach valley and along the Au to the Rheinlache. The last kilometers we hike along the Kaiserin-Augusta facilities to the Electoral Palace and the old town center.
