A walk to the Cascata del Lupo where legends tell the story of the great wolf

Route that crosses the main meadows and pastures of the municipality of Bedollo with a short extension around the lake of Piazze.

A relaxing walk along the lakes of the Piné Plateau, suitable for both adults and children, where you can taste local products, from lake trout to alpine cheeses, from small fruit ice cream to pinsa with porcini mushrooms.

The lakes circuit of the Piné Plateau is a relaxing and flat walk, which can also be shortened to just a loop around one of the two lakes, Serraia or delle Piazze. Suitable for everyone and ideal also for families with children. For the more adventurous, the cycle-pedestrian path continues to the small lake of Buse, particularly pleasant for outings and picnics.

With a splendid loop you complete the circuit of the large hill that overlooks the village of Bedollo.

The lake circuit of the Piné Plateau is a relaxing and flat walk, which can also be shortened to just the circuit of one of the two lakes, Serraia or delle Piazze. Suitable for everyone and also ideal for families with children. For the more adventurous, the cycle-pedestrian path continues to the Buse pond, particularly pleasant for outings and picnics.

The route leads from the South Tyrolean Etsch valley with its extensive fruit orchards via the Holy Lake and through the Cembra valley to the famous earth pyramids of Segonzano. Across the lake-rich high plateau of Piné with its impressive mountain backdrop, it descends into the Valsugana. Along the way, the Albrecht-Dürer path, partly the E5, and the Mesotrekking route from the mountains to Trento are followed. Except for some passages on roads along the E5 around the earth pyramids, along the Mesotrekking between Centrale and Lake Piazze, and in towns, the route runs on old, romantic paths through the mountains. The views of the mountains in the upper Etsch valley, the Brenta, and the Lagorai range are magnificent. The old settlements with their stone houses and narrow alleys blend beautifully into the landscape. Lastly, special mention should be made of the great friendliness and helpfulness of the residents in this lesser-known area. The tour can be undertaken from mid-April to mid-October. Especially recommended is mid-April when the fruit trees already blossom in the valleys and the spring starts just beginning at higher altitudes with crocus and snow heath. Then the beauty of the Southern Alps reveals itself to the hiker in a particularly impressive way. The tour contains no Alpine difficulties, but the often narrow and steep paths require caution, as roots and stones are often covered with leaves. 

The massive earth pyramids of Segonzano are among the most beautiful in the neighboring province of Trento and offer a great hiking experience with the circular route to the “Cascata del Lupo” waterfall.
