▶ We start at Seehotel 01 at Gelter and walk along the small paved road toward Campground 02. The paved road ends here, and the forest road continues on flat ground into the woods. At a fork, we then turn right onto the wide road (red cross), cross a clearing with power lines, and finally reach a trail junction at the 5-Wooge 03 fork, where our return route joins from the left.We keep to the right, continuing to follow the red cross; the trail narrows to a narrow path and leads through the Walkmühl Valley, past several ponds amidst lush greenery. The ponds, some of which are heavily overgrown, vary in depth and are connected by a water channel. We pass a hunter’s motif (Halali) carved into the rock. The fairly flat trail leads us to a shelter 04 with an information board about the nature reserve at Gelterswoog. In front of the shelter, we keep to the left and turn left again at a bench by the trail, walking along a narrow path into the forest. This shortcut takes us to a small paved road, which we soon leave by turning right. In a left-hand curve, we cross a small paved road and turn onto a wide forest road. At the next fork, we keep to the right, walking slightly uphill, and after a few minutes, we cross a trail junction 05 and continue straight ahead. The trail descends gently into the Rosental valley to a wide forest road, which we follow to the right. The path turns into asphalt and leads us to a fork near a large tree, just before some houses. Taking a sharp right, past the remains of a wall 06 and the houses, the small paved road slopes slightly downward and leads us down to the FC Queiderbach sports facilities. We continue to the edge of the forest and turn left just before reaching it. The flat forest path initially runs along the edge of the forest, then veers to the right and leads straight through the woods. At a junction, we take the middle, narrow footpath, which shortly afterward brings us to our original route at the 5-Wooge junction 03. We walk between the ponds, veer to the right, and follow the wide forest road along the edge of the forest. At a crossing with a vehicle path, we come to a shelter, the Mühlberger Hütte 07, and keep to the right. Crossing a small footbridge, we rejoin our outbound route, which we follow to the left toward the campground. At the lake, we turn left and walk along the beautiful lakeside path to the left of Campground 02, right along the lake. Shortly after, we rejoin the small paved road that takes us back to the lake hotel 01.

Nice walk in the woods between Bann and Kindsbach. There is a very nice network of trails here. Some are marked, either for the nordic walking or the Kindsbach trails. The nordic walking trails are very well marked, the other, not so much. This is a hybrid to use some of the lesser walked trails that are not marked.
