Von dort geht es mit dem Bus 183 in 10 min zum Startpunkt an der Kunihostraße in Daglfing und zu Fuß von dort zur Stegmühlstraße, die bis zur Isar als Salzweg des Mittelalters und Militärstraße der römischen Kaiserzeit nachgewiesen ist. Immer geradeaus laufen wir also durch Englschalking und Oberföhring zur Stelle, wo einst die berühmte Salzbrücke des Freisinger Bischofs stand, die Heinrich der Löwe zerstörte, um den lukrativen Salzweg über seine neue Brücke weiter südlich zu führen, was zu Gründung und Aufschwung von München führte.
Nach einer Runde zwischen Isar und Isarkanal geht es über St. Emmeram nach Johanneskirchen mit Einkehr in der Dicken Sophie und weiter auf dem stillgelegten Bahndamm "Feldkirchner Spange" nach Aschheim zum Römermuseum (Öffnungszeiten beachten!) und zur Villa-Rustic-Ausgrabung. Über Feldkirchen (Einkehr im Hotel Bauer) wandern wir über die alte Riemer Einflugschneise und Landebahn durch den Riemer Park wieder zur Messestadt.
