Winzerhof ERNST pursues a philosophy that relies on its own grape material in the production of its wines - from the vine to the wine, 100% self-made. The vineyards are cultivated carefully and in harmony with nature, supported by modern technology. This includes a renovated wine hall, a modern forcing room for growing the newly grafted vines and newly adapted cold rooms for storing vines and wine. Particular pride is taken in the two existing wine cellars in the longest wine cellar lane in Europe, where the red wines are stored in wooden barrels to mature in the tried and tested tradition. The cozy cellar also offers plenty of space for wine tastings. When it comes to production, the Winzerhof relies on the strengths of the individual family members. Alfred and Birgit run the business with their many years of experience, while Michael and Stefan provide new ideas and creations. The joy of working in nature unites them all. The vineyards in the Pulkau Valley are one of the most beautiful places to work.
