Das KuhCafé nahe Gera mit Blick in die Milchviehproduktion und Kälbchenzoo

Seit 2019 gibt es am Agrarhof in Kauern bei Gera einen Hofladen mit KuhCafé. Angeboten werden Kaffee und Kuchen sowie Torten, ein kleines Imbissangebot und Getränke in Selbstbedienung. Auf der Terasse hat man einen schönen Blick in die Landschaft. Das Kuhcafé ist dank eines Fahrstuhls barrierefrei erreichbar. Im Nachbargebäude können die Kälbchen im sogenannten Kälbchenzoo besucht werden.

Das Besondere: In der oberen Etage des Cafés befinden sich sechs große Panoramafenster mit Blick in den Milchviehstall und einen Bildschirm mit Liveübertragung.

Directions

Kauern liegt südlich von Gera und Ronneburg. Auf der Autobahn A 4 nehmen Sie die Abfahrt 59 Gera-Leumnitz und fahren auf der B 92 Richtung Gera/Greiz. Biegen Sie nach ca. 4 km links nach Collis ab. Über Kaimberg erreichen Sie schließlich Kauern.

Vor dem Hofladen stehen ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
