The Sulzkaralm

Since 1897, our rustic alpine hut has been welcoming guests with homemade delicacies such as cheese, bacon, and traditional pastries. Animals, nature, and the “Kasjause” tip included. Awarded in 2015.

The rustic alpine hut was built in 1897 and came into our family’s ownership in 1952. Our guests can enjoy homemade products such as cheese, butter, bread, bacon, and traditional pastries. Besides our cows, you will also find cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, and our “star of the alpine pasture” donkey Jeanny. With a bit of luck, marmots and chamois can be spotted directly from the terrace. Hut tip: don’t miss the “Kasjause” (cheese snack).

The Sulzkaralm was voted Alpine Summer Hut of the Year 2015 with 10,128 votes.
