Das Weingut Schneider steht für naturnahen Weinbau. Auf den kalkhaltigen Lehmböden, erlangen die Weine feine Mineralität und eine vielschichtige Struktur. Die von Hand gelesenen Trauben und das Terroir der Spitzenlagen bilden die Basis für Individualität und große Weinqualität.
Das Weingut der Familie Schneider ist schon seit vielen Generationen in Altweil eng mit dem Weinbau verbunden. Heute pflegt Claus Schneider mit seinem Team eine Rebfläche von 10 Hektar der Gemarkungen Weil am Rhein, Haltingen und Ötlingen.
Zu den Rebsorten des Weinguts zählen:
- Spätburgunder
- Gutedel
- die weißen Burgundersorten Weisser Burgunder, Grauer Burgunder und Chardonnay.
