Das Rote Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen über den Holzbohlenweg durch das Rote Moor. Das Rote Moor ist ein bedeutendes Hochmoorrelikt mit seltener Flora und Fauna. Es liegt an der B 278 zwischen Ehrenberg und Bischofsheim und bietet rustikale Gastronomie mit Brotzeiten, Kaffee und Kuchen. Das Rote Haus ist kinderfreundlich, Hunde sind erlaubt und der Zugang ist barrierefrei möglich. Hinweis: Die Nutzung der Toilette ist gegen Gebühr möglich.
