To the Blue Lion - A traditional inn in the Northern Palatinate highlands.
The inn Zum Blauen Löwen is located not far from the former mining settlement of Stahlberg in the Northern Palatinate. Until the early 20th century, cinnabar and mercury were mined here. The establishment of this centuries-old property is certainly related to its location near the settlement inhabited by miners. After hard work, a visit to the tavern was often the only change of scenery. Not far from the inn runs the Palatine High Trail. The inn is happy to accommodate the hiker as a guest.
