Many generations of our family have been cultivating the vineyards around Weyher in the Pfalz since the 17th century, as evidenced by historical records. We are grateful to draw from the rich experience of our ancestors and therefore know exactly which plots are the best locations for our individual grape varieties and what challenges each specific microclimate presents us.
"Rocks shape wines"
Five different types of rock and a very differentiated microclimate make the locations around Weyher something special. The careful work in the vineyards is closely in harmony with nature and is based on the experience of many generations. From the grapes, very individual and fruit-driven wines are produced through gentle processing. The winery, with 10 hectares of vineyards, is managed by master winemaker Michael Möwes together with his family and experienced employees.
