Weingut Kranz

The Kranz winery has been part of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP) since 2012. Boris Kranz has consistently worked his way to the top of Palatinate wine producers with diligence, skill, and a healthy dose of idealism. His delicate, puristic Rieslings, juicy Pinot Blancs, and firm, mineral Pinot Noirs are among the best in South Palatinate. The key to the uniqueness of his wines is their origin. The terroir in which they grow determines the style of the wines.

Kranz wines are unmistakable, long-lasting, and straightforward. The winery manages 25 hectares of vineyards, with 25% Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc, 10% Chardonnay, and 15% other varieties. No grapes are purchased – 100% own cultivation.
