Weyher – located four kilometers southwest of Edenkoben, nestled between the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Rhine. Without a doubt, an idyllic spot: sun-kissed and with a spectacular view over the expanse of the plain to the Black Forest. Above all, however, a place that wine lovers should remember – and that in connection with one name: the Winery Graf von Weyher.

The business, which has been family-owned for generations, has garnered increasing attention in recent years. This is certainly also due to the recent generational change – since father Otmar has received support from his sons Peter and Jürgen, the winery has been showered with awards. The highlight so far: 1st place at the international competition "Best of Riesling," where 2,000 wines from around the world were tasted. The award from the German Wine Institute as the Best Muscatel in Germany 2017. The recognition from the German Food Society and the German Wine Institute as the second-best young winemaker in Germany 2017/2018 for cellar master Peter Graf. Recently, the Second Grand State Honorary Award from the Chamber of Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate was added for the "consistently high quality of the wines" – in the competitions "The Young South Palatinate" and "Generation Palatinate," the business reached the Top 10 and Top 20, respectively, once again.
