The Heinz Pfaffmann winery from Walsheim in the Palatinate stands for a passion for winegrowing and a solid knowledge base of no less than 400 years. The family business focuses on a sustainable interplay of tradition and modernity: a wealth of experience built over many years meets innovative cultivation and production methods.

The sustainable approach is consistently pursued at our winery: Across the entire cultivation area of the Bioland-certified winery there is an uncompromising renunciation of herbicide use. In addition, no animal products are used in the processing. Thus, since 2016 all processes of wine production at Heinz Pfaffmann have been completely organic and vegan.

The commitment to organic viticulture is based on a deep connection with the region – the Palatinate has been the home of the Pfaffmann family since the winery's founding in 1616. Our love for the region and the wine fuels our desire to work sustainably and in harmony with the animal and plant world to produce top-quality organic wine that every wine lover can enjoy without reservation. Because only healthy soil produces truly good wine.
