LEOPOLD - RESTAURANT - "Mama Cuisine of the Wine Regions"
The Leopold Restaurant with wooden floors, a fireplace corner, and wooden tables offers grounded wine tavern flair with a pleasant feel-good atmosphere.
Great products, genuine craftsmanship in the kitchen, friendly and professional service, and above all, good taste are the most important ingredients here. That’s why the team prepares all dishes themselves, from the sauce to the roasted and blood sausage, and sources meat and fish from long-standing trusted suppliers. The meat matures under the watchful eye of the head chef until it reaches its aromatic peak. In this way, it's possible to bring traditional cuisine to life and give each dish a distinctive signature.
Indispensable from the menu - or as one says today "Signature Dishes" of the chef - are, for example: beef tartare with hand-cut, fresh fries, the lukewarm octopus salad with a slightly spicy aioli, or the highly aromatic and buttery tender veal fillet with a creamy sauce according to the season (morel, pepper, cognac). This dish is rare to find; the preparation of the sauce takes three days! In addition, there are not only the house wines at vintage depth but also an exciting and extensive wine list featuring national and international highlights! Restaurant manager Enzo Baland-Latoui, chefs Christian Meier and Siegfried Gebhart, along with the entire team, look forward to your visit.
