Old history, new dishes
After an apprenticeship at the Hotel Guglwald in Switzerland, New Zealand, Canada and back home, I combine the old traditions of our cuisine with new impressions that I have gathered around the world. Under the motto "Old history. New dishes.", I want to transport our surprise menu into a modern age, above all by bringing people together and sharing meals like grandma used to do.
Surprise menu
"Who wants the meat now?" or "Who wants the salad now?" are phrases that are often heard at home over lunch, but also at Gasthaus Manzenreiter. Because not everyone gets their own dish, everyone is served together. Just like grandma used to do, everyone sits together and shares the food. This way, everyone can try everything and sharing the food creates a cozy atmosphere that is otherwise only found at home. Find out more here.
