Let yourself be enchanted by this historic place and enjoy our wines in the wine shop, or spend a few nights in our apartments.
"We live in a region where landscape, climate, soil, grape variety, and people have grown together into an organism over centuries. Year after year, world-class Rieslings are produced on the banks of the Moselle. However, it took us several years away from the narrow Moselle Valley to recognize this. The stronger the dream of our own winery became, and returning to the Moselle was the logical consequence. Everything started in 2014 with new ideas for the winery from Christian's father. In the meantime, we continue the tradition of viticulture rooted in our family for generations with great passion.
The heart of the winery is the Rosenhof, an impressive half-timbered house from the early 17th century, which was presumably built as an estate for a monastery in the Eifel region. With a bit of luck, we were able to acquire the building in 2018 and have since been restoring it piece by piece to its former glory. The restoration was carried out in accordance with monument preservation, using natural materials such as clay and lime, which also create a pleasant indoor climate. Let yourself be enchanted by this historic place and enjoy our wines in the vinotheque or spend a few nights in our apartments."
