Black Mountains Preserves is a small Award Winning Artisan Welsh business offering luxury preserves
Handmade in Talgarth with views of the Black Mountains across the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Black Mountains Preserves is an award-winning Welsh artisan business producing luxury jams, chutneys, marmalades, and gift sets.
Everything is made by Helen in small batches — typically just 10 to 15 jars at a time — using no additives, artificial flavourings, or preservatives. All products are vegan. Favourites include the Damson & Orange Jam (rich and fruity with a citrus edge), the Sweet Chilli Jamalade (smooth, sweet, and warmly spiced — ideal on a charcuterie board or as a BBQ marinade), and the Pear & Double Ginger Conserve, which combines chunks of stem ginger with home-grown pears.
Gift sets come with personalised messages for any occasion. The Taste of Wales Gift Set brings together Welsh Ale Butty Bach Chutney, Welsh Gin Marmalade made with local Black Mountains Botanical Gin, and freshly baked Welsh cakes.
A loyalty reward scheme encourages customers to return used glass jars for recycling. Orders can be placed online, with local click-and-collect also available.
